BUYERS:
Ask the breeder to file the registration application as part of your purchase agreement.
Get a copy of the regisration application for your records.
Get all of the breeder's contact information: address, email, phone, full name.
Get a receipt for any money that you have paid.
If it is a contract sale (payments on time) get a written contract. Be sure you understand the terms of the contract. If the animals are being sold as a package, not individual animals, with one price for all be sure that is stated in the contract.
Keep all this paperwork in a safe place. You never know when you will need it.

SELLERS:
Get all of the buyer's contact information: phone, address, full name, email.
File the registration application as a courtesy to the buyer. This also helps to keep RW's from falling out of the registry and being lost.
Give receipts for any money received. Keep a copy. This is very important in contract sales.
If it is a contract sale, have a written contract. Be sure the purchaser understans the terms of the contract. If the animals are being sold as a package with one price for all be sure that is stated in the contract.
