We are located 35 miles SE of San Antonio. We just aquired three Red Wattles, a young boar and two gilts. We want to raise pastured pork and sell it to restaurants and the public. I don't want to butcher and process at this time. We are not set up for that. But we may create our own private label if we can find the right slaughterhouse/processing facility to work with.
We have stock that was supposed to be registered with the American Livestock Conservency, but we were told they do not register anymore. Still trying to figure out how to register our animals.
Thanks, I hope to be able to chat with you about Red Wattles!

Mark you can register them through the Red Wattle Hog Association. But, you will need the seller and breeder to sign the pedigree forms.

I am new here to, and am in the middle of this process myself.
