Hello from Montville, Maine

Postby mthompson » Wed Feb 24, 2010 4:14 pm

I started with Large Black's three years ago and absolutely adore them.
Now I'm ready to add Red Wattle and am trying to find stock not too closely related to the RW already in the North East.
I have yet to figure out how to read the RW bloodlines.
For the LB the bloodline is recorded as the name of the farm followed by the bloodline.
For example,
my sow was an Alderbrook Warbler
my boar was a Stillmeadow Majestic
their offspring were Beanscorner Warbler, and Beanscorner Majestic.
I would appreciate it if someone could help me decipher the RW lines.
Thank you! M
