Hi my wife and I fell in love with these pigs after reading an artical in " Back Home" magazine. We obtained a bore and two gilts in August and sence then have decided to make a run at a small Hobby Farm we've named or property "Turtle Creek". We've added two pygmy goats and a flock of chickens(60). We've had some ups and downs with fenceing and attacks from the local preditor population (bobcats, coyotes and birds of prey). Our lowest lows have come form the bobcat that has killed all of my full grown turkeys and all so attacked our Red Wattles, there doing well after hundreds of dollars in vet bills, but Have to say its worth it we love or pigs and glad to be part of the group. We welcome any suggestions on or preditor problems I'm tring traping but no luck so far.
Thank you
Greg and Sophia
